Improvements to the Website
The Friedrich-Maerker-Verlag website is currently being continuously updated and thereby improved. The appearance and handling will not change. Nevertheless, there are two big changes. Very important, firstly, the shop is now working again. And secondly, the catalog has been updated, the categories have been rearranged and a new category “non-fiction” has been added. This makes it easier for readers and interested parties to find reading samples and to obtain information about the books.
Multilingualism
Even though we have multilingual books, the website is still primarily German; it is not technically possible for us to offer all the content in the different languages just by click. For this reason, there is now a menu item in the top menu bar for Spanish – Bienvenidos – and English – Welcome. Here you will find information about the publisher, the books and the authors in the desired language. From now onwards, there will also be most blog posts in English and Spanish in addition to German.
Communicate news
It is important to us to communicate news quickly and specifically. Of course, there are always new releases or events, such as trade fairs, book days, readings and book launches. We announce such information to you on the one hand via the blog and on the other hand in the news section. Authors – Readings by our authors take place throughout the year. These events are often possible at very short notice, so it’s worth checking back regularly. Here you will find not only the dates but also the time and exact location of the event.
We welcome feedback, even if something doesn’t work so well or causes problems, this is the only way we can act. So, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment.
