Fairy tales were created as part of the retellings, because, of course, fairy tales, like the classics, are literary works from the past and therefore sometimes difficult to access. The author has shortened and updated some of the texts slightly, but without changing the meaning, so that the texts can be easily understood by young readers. Furthermore, the retellings are available in German, English, French, and Spanish. The language versions have been coordinated so that they can be read in parallel.
